Gemini Season
Every sun season is filled with themes of the archetype of the zodiac that rules it and, in every season, there is a full moon in the opposite sign that balances the energy between the two by encouraging release work through these signs.
This is the sun season of chit chatting, going to local places and spaces and collecting and sharing information. This is a time to network but more on a local level with neighbors and close friends as opposed to Aquarius season when we are networking on a larger scale across the world with the aid of technology and connections that span wider than your inner circle. This is the season when you look outside and you see nature buzzing, you start to hear the earth waking up, birds chirping and animals scurrying around.
If the sign of Gemini were related to an animal it would be the hummingbird or the bumble bee flitting from flower to flower, helping pollenate by spreading and moving within an ecosystem, just as Gemini energy collects and spreads information with those around them. Under the flower full moon this Gemini season, business and the mask you need to put on in order to stay in reporter mode can take over and we can get lost in a sea of hustle and bustle drowning out our true feeling and connection to what really matters.
Think of a news reporter or an interviewer being ever curious but never showing you their cards, only staying focused on getting the story and never breaking their cool exterior to give you a glimpse into their true feelings on the subject.
Release with the full moon
Free yourself from this by releasing your pent up emotions trapped in your hips and thighs- the area of the body Sagittarius rules. Be who you are and let your fire light the way.
Sagittarius energy stands in what it believes and isn’t afraid to tell it how they see it and feel it.
Letting go at this full moon enables us to release pressure and judgment around the things holding us back emotionally. The more dogmatic we become with something we believe the more likely we are to hold on to it and store it unwillingly in our hips. Normalize stating information as just that, information, not fact or law and being able to have a conversation about the information without latching on to it.
Balance is the key here. We need information but just how much can we take without overload? We also need to hold an opinion or belief but staying even-keeled, open-minded, and open-hearted is the only way to ward of dogma.
Major Astrological Aspects
Full moon is forming a sextile with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius.
Venus and Jupiter are conjunct in Taurus.
Over all vibe: Lively full moon leaves us feeling strong, confident and honest.
When the moon is sextile Pluto your deeply buried emotions are more willing to float to the surface and many times reveal themselves to us through our bodies. You may be feeling tight in the hips or have pain in your joints, back or shoulders from stored unprocessed feelings. With Venus conjunct Jupiter relationships could become a focus and feel more relevant and necessary to keep in good graces, cultivating an abundance of love.
In general, this is a feel-good moon. It is a good time to lean into opportunities and optimism. If it’s been bleak and hard to break away from that feeling, this moon gives us the opportunity to release what’s been holding us back as of late and give us that push in the direction we are desiring to go, like an arrow pulled back launched in a forward direction. If you’ve been looking for answers on heavy subjects (especially philosophical/moral and global) and trying to find resources this is a time where they start to appear.
Don't lose your focus, distraction is at an all time high, follow your arrow pointed north.
